Cotton...On its own, cotton can be soft and cooling but dull and unforgiving. Linen...On its own, linen shows crisp stitches and saturated color but is hard on the hands and sags. Married in one yarn, Willow Field brings the best of both worlds, plying crisp, colorful linen with luxuriously soft cotton to create a beautiful yarn with natural texture and softness.

"Read the reviews and had to add mine. I LOVE this yarn. I just finished crocheting a second cloche hat for my daughter with Willow Field yarn because she wore the first one all the time! This is her favorite yarn for hats. I had no problems working with the yarn or having the yarn separate into strands. Beautiful colors and beautiful yarn!"

"Like working with Dental floss, this yarn was tough to work with, kept untwisting, needed hubby to keep straight while I made into balls. Finally finished the Tulips Shawl ( very nice pattern) and wanted to throw it away, even after washing, not something I want around my neck. Only good thing color was beautiful."

"This yarn has been a pleasure to work with. It has such an interesting texture and drape. The finished garment is beautiful. I made the Rococo waistcoat. I had no trouble winding the yarn into balls. I will be buying this yarn for future projects. It has an amazing feel, different from other cotton yarns. "

"I am using field for the rococo waistcoat pattern. It has been great to work with. It has a great texture while it goes through my hands. The fabric is working up beautifully with great stitch definition. Give this yarn a try. It’s something different, and well worth the price. I highly recommend. "

"I was really looking forward to working with this yarn but after trying very unsuccessfully of winding three of the five hanks I ordered into balls, I'm not even going to try the last two. I've never had a problem winding other companies' hanks into balls but this yarn is horrible. Couldn't get more than a yard or two, Too bad because I love the color and looked forward to making the Alhambra top.. $30 wasted."
