"Oof. This was a rough pattern. The instructions for the heart really don't make any sense. A chart or even a count of how many stitches/spaces after each round would be great. I had to frog this so many times I lost count and eventually pretty much just made it up myself. It would have only gotten two stars, but after I got past the heart, the rest of it works up relatively quickly and looks cute so I added a star."

"This pattern needs a chart for the heart. The instructions are not written clearly."

"I've been crocheting for some 40 years, and I have to say that this pattern has me tearing my hair out. I've ripped the second row out five times now, and just cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've given up, and will use the yarn for another project. Very pretty pattern, and I was excited to make this vest, but it's written exceptionally poorly. This is a free pattern, and I guess you get what you pay for."

"The pattern does not make sense right from the beginning which makes the rest of it off. I have had to adjust to make it work. And n By the looking at the picture closely they didn’t go according to pattern either. Please update so it can be made as beautifully as it is supposed to be. "
