"I make a baby blanket for every pregnant woman in my church. I finally settled on this pattern because it's large and knits quickly. Plus, this particular basket weave pattern is very pretty. "

"It is a beautiful design and fun to make. I made it in Ultramarine. My new fave pattern!!! I made this blanket for a three year old who is sick with Leukemia. I wanted him to have a blankie to cuddle with when times got tough and he was sick. The ultramarine color I chose of Willow Burrow was stunning! The pattern is easy to follow and understand. I like the basketweave stitch look and have made several different patterns for adult afghans and baby afghans. I highly recommend you try this one. I just mailed the finished project out today so I have not heard his reaction. Love it!!"
