"I had my eye on this kit for a while and got it when it went on sale. Even though this is called a baby blanket, the yarn color is not your typical baby blanket color, which is what I liked about it. It turned out really nice, the yarn is soft, the pattern was easy to follow. My only issue is you can't machine dry the yarn because it is 25% wool, which is not an issue for me but could be for my daughter in law to whom I gave the blanket."

"I'm in the process of knitting this now before it gets too warm. I'm using the marine yarn and it is very pretty. I'm hoping there will be enough to make it a lapghan since I've made several baby blankets already. I would certainly recommend it, it is a fairly simple pattern, just knits and purls."
